Description
In this painting of Jerusalem, I wanted to capture the city’s layered beauty, its grounded presence, and spiritual depth. The earthy palette gives it a sense of stability like the city has always been there and always will be. The buildings are painted close together, forming almost a pattern that reflects the city’s density, textures, and streets full of hidden stories. To me, this isn’t just a cityscape, it’s a reflection of memory, faith, and history woven into stone. This piece is part of my ongoing exploration of Jewish art, where tradition and emotion meet through form, color, and place.
